What are environment variables?

Environment variables are key-value pairs passed into your container at runtime - things like connection strings, API keys, and config values. They're stored securely and encrypted, and are never baked into your container image.

You can add, edit, or remove them from the container node Config tab or from the Settings menu in your project.
